Job summary
Positive Impact Health Centers (PIHC) is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to serve as the primary PIHC Pharmacy contact for the clinic team. You will handle patient medication access tasks including benefits investigation, prior authorizations, copay assistance, and refills with professional communication.
Under supervision, you’ll collaborate to minimize billing issues, ensure access to medications, and support documentation to promote continuity of treatments while adhering to HIPAA and GA BOP
Qualifications
- Licensed pharmacy technician in good standing with the Georgia Board of Pharmacy.
- 2–4 years of pharmacy technician experience in a retail setting with insurance navigation.
- Knowledge of GA BOP rules and HIPAA compliance.
Responsibilities
- Serve as PIHC Pharmacy liaison to assigned clinic team for patient medication access queries.
- Screen, apply and coordinate medication assistance opportunities for patients.
- Enroll and coordinate paperwork for manufacturer and disease-based assistance programs.
