As a Fill Center Pharmacy Packaging Technician, you’ll be a key part of our collaborative team. You’ll bring your skills and expertise to accurately and efficiently fill prescriptions, support Pharmacists, and ensure that the warehouse pharmacy operates smoothly.

Job Description

• Experience Required: 0 to 6 months
• Experience Desired: Knowledge of drug handling protocols and best practices in a time-sensitive fulfillment process
• Education Desired: High school diploma or equivalent
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 10 pounds
• Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities

• Remove out-of-date and expired medications following proper procedures
• Train and mentor new team members
• Report errors, omissions, and incidents to the Pharmacist on duty
• Assist in the preparation and filling of prescriptions under supervision
• Prepare and fill non-auto counted drugs
• Label bottles and prepackaged items accurately
• Replenish canisters with necessary consumables
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to meet company and government standards
• Identify, address, and escalate system issues
• Follow all company, state, and federal policies, including HIPAA regulations
• Operate semi-automatic cabinets for order fulfillment
• Maintain production rates and quality standards as directed by leadership
• Perform additional duties as assigned
