Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services of Ohio in Columbus, OH is seeking an Order Entry Technician to enter prescriptions and refills quickly and accurately. You will address customer inquiries, maintain compliance with HIPAA, and support ongoing process improvements across the pharmacy system.

The role requires a high school diploma, state-licensed pharmacy technician credentials, and at least one year of pharmacy technician experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations.
• Minimum of one year working as a pharmacy technician (long-term care pharmacy preferred).

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy system.
• Address and respond to customer inquiries and requests.
• Contribute to evaluation and continuous improvement of client services, policies, and procedures.
• Comply with safety policies and government regulations including HIPAA.
• Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA.
• Ensure safety policy and procedures are followed.
• Other duties as assigned; duties may vary by business needs.
