Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services in Charlotte, NC seeks an Order Entry Technician to input prescriptions and refills into our pharmacy system with speed and accuracy. You will respond to customer questions, support client services, and help ensure compliance with safety policies and HIPAA.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, pharmacy tech certification per state requirements, at least one year of experience, and strong data entry, math, and Microsoft Office skills.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Pharmacy technician licenses/certifications required by state regulations.
• Minimum of one year working as a pharmacy technician.

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy system.
• Address and respond to customer inquiries and requests.
• Actively contribute to evaluation and ongoing improvement of client services and policies.
• Comply with safety, attendance, dress code and government policies.
• Follow HIPAA regulations and maintain patient privacy.
• Ensure safety policies are consistently followed; other duties as needed.
