Job summary

Polaris Pharmacy Services in Charlotte, NC, is seeking an Order Entry Technician to accurately enter prescriptions and refills into our pharmacy system. The role requires handling customer inquiries, ensuring data accuracy, and adhering to safety and HIPAA policies.

The successful candidate will have a High School diploma or equivalent, a pharmacy technician license, and at least one year of pharmacy tech experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Pharmacy technician license/certification required by state.
• Minimum of one year working as a pharmacy technician (long-term care preferred).

Responsibilities

• Enter new and refill prescriptions into the pharmacy system.
• Address and respond to customer inquiries and requests.
• Contribute to evaluation and continuous improvement of client services, policies, and procedures.
• Comply with safety, attendance, and dress code policies.
• Follow HIPAA regulations.
• Other duties as assigned; job duties may vary depending on business needs.
