Job summary

Thomas Jefferson University Hospitals, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of the retail pharmacy, ensuring safe and effective patient care and compliance with state and federal regulations.

The role includes recruiting and training staff and maintaining inventory at optimal levels to support quality care. The position also focuses on managing fiscal matters, implementing new policies, and driving revenue growth while upholding the organization’s core values

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree required (B.S. in Pharmacy).
• 3–5 years of managerial experience in retail pharmacy.
• Registered Pharmacist license in Pennsylvania.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the clinical activities of the pharmacy to ensure delivery of safe and effective patient care.
• Maintain patient records, prescriptions, and other documentation in keeping with policies and laws.
• Manage fiscal matters, inventory control, and human resources in the retail pharmacy.
• Provide implementation and training of new or existing policies and procedures to ensure high quality services.
• Interact with co-workers, patients, visitors and staff in line with Jefferson Health core values.
