Job summary

Kinney Drugs is seeking a Pharmacy Technician to assist with prescription processing, inventory management and third party receivables. You will help hire and train new staff while supporting pharmacist duties and maintaining compliance.

Responsibilities include data entry, cash handling, and ensuring all prescriptions are checked by a pharmacist before dispensing. The role emphasizes accuracy and regulatory adherence.

Qualifications

• Valid State License and current registration to practice Pharmacy.
• Standing/walking ability for long shifts; pre-employment drug screen.
• Experience in hospital or retail pharmacy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in triaging, processing and delivery of prescriptions to patients.
• Support in pharmacy inventory management and third party receivables.
• Assist in hiring and training new staff; ensure regulatory compliance.
• Ensure pharmacist reviews each prescription prior to dispensing.
