Job summary

The role requires compliance with state and federal regulations, attention to quality assurance, and delivering excellent customer service in a busy community pharmacy. HS diploma required; Vermont tech registration preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; AS degree preferred.
• Registered Pharmacy Technician in Vermont preferred.
• Hospital or retail pharmacy experience preferred.
• Drug test and ongoing eligibility monitoring required.

Responsibilities

• Answering telephones.
• Data entry, prescription processing, and adjudication workflow.
• Inventory management, ordering, receiving, and cycle counts.
• Ensure each prescription is checked by a pharmacist before dispensing.
• Assist in third party claims submissions and resubmissions.
• Assist and oversee pharmacy workflow from data entry to customer pickup.
• Support staff training and ensure quality customer service.
