Walgreens in Gulfport, MS is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to lead day-to-day operations, ensure accurate dispensing, supervise staff, and uphold regulatory compliance while delivering patient-centered care.

Responsibilities include counseling patients, performing drug therapy reviews, immunizations, inventory management, and improving pharmacy performance and patient experience while coordinating with the Store Manager.

Competenze

• BS in Pharmacy or PharmD and licensed pharmacist.
• Current pharmacist licensure in the states within the district.
• Immunizer certification or willing to become an immunizer.
• At least 1 year pharmacy experience including prescription filling, recordkeeping, legal compliance, pharmacy operations, pharmacy software and technology systems and insurance billing.

Mansioni

• Counsels patients and answers questions regarding usage of medicine, side effects, interactions, contraindications, patient information privacy, generics, less expensive medicines, and over-the-counter products.
• Performs pharmacist tasks including compounding, drug therapy reviews, verification, and medication management.
• Reviews, interprets, and accurately dispenses prescribed medications, as required.
• Ensures the pharmacy operates in accordance with regulations, company policies and standards, and oversees staff scheduling and shift changes.
• Maintains information technology knowledge of pharmacy systems and supports staff and patients with IT.
