Job summary

Walgreens seeks a full-time, on-site Pharmacy Technician in Jacksonville, FL, to support non-clinical pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision. Responsibilities include registration, data entry, medication prep and counting, calling patients and physicians, and assisting with vaccines and health services where permitted by law.

You will lead technician training and performance management, ensuring workflow is efficient and compliant with policies.

Qualifications

• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English (except Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital setting.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, counting and verification (where allowed by law).
• Handle patient and physician calls under pharmacist supervision and support vaccination and health services as allowed by law.
• Lead training and performance management of pharmacy technicians and ensure tasks are completed on time.
