External Basic Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
2. PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
3. One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
4. Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
5. Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Previous people management/leadership experience.
2. Previous work experience with Walgreens with an Exceeding Expectation on last performance evaluation.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities; ensure efficient pharmacy workflow and a positive patient experience.
2. Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions under the supervision of a pharmacist.
3. Supervise pharmacy technicians and pharmacy cashiers within authorized company policies.
4. Engage customers by greeting them and resolving complaints to ensure a positive customer experience.
5. Assist pharmacist in patient care delivery including registration, prescription data entry, and preparation of medications.
6. Manage pharmacy workflow and ensure compliance with all business administrative activities.
7. Lead performance management of technicians, including training, coaching, and performance evaluations.
8. Maintain knowledge of Company asset protection techniques and communicate prescription errors to the accountable pharmacist.
9. Coordinate community outreach and assign pharmacists to off-site immunization clinics.
