Job summary

Mass General Brigham, North Shore Medical Center, Inc. is seeking a Pharmacy Director to direct daily operations of pharmacy services and to guide staff. This role provides leadership and direction to the department and participates in setting short- and long-term goals.

The position requires a Pharmacist license with a Pharmacy degree (Bachelors or PharmD) and 2–3 years of management experience; 3–5 years preferred. Onsite work location is 81 Highland Avenue with a 40-hour work week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy required.
• Licensure as a Pharmacist in the state required.
• 2-3 years of related pharmacy management experience required; 3-5 years preferred.
• Excellent verbal, written, and quantitative skills.
• Ability to work under stress and meet time constraints.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily operations of pharmacy services and supervises staff.
• Serves as resource on pharmacy policies to staff.
• Participates in on-call responsibilities as assigned.
• Oversees staff development and performance evaluation.
• Assists in recruitment, interviews, and training of new staff.
• Participates in policy development and procedural updates.
• Conducts educational programs and staff meetings.
