Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy required.
• Can this role accept experience in lieu of a degree? No.
• Licenses and Credentials: Pharmacist State License required.
• Experience: 2–3 years of pharmacy management required; 3–5 years preferred.
• Must have excellent verbal, written, and quantitative skills.
• Shows knowledge of department operations.
• Knowledge of pharmacology and dispensing laws.
• Demonstrate interpersonal skills to educate and supervise staff.
• Able to work accurately under stress and time constraints.
• Strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily operations of pharmacy services and leads staff.
• Oversees staff development and performance evaluations.
• Partners with providers and clinical teams on medication access and safety.
• Participates in recruitment, interviewing, and training of new staff.
• Contributes to policy development and implementation.
• Conducts educational programs, in-services, and staff meetings.
• Provides a resource on pharmacy policies for clinicians and staff.
• Participates in on-call responsibilities as assigned.
