Job summary

Mass General Brigham is seeking a Pharmacy Operations Director to oversee daily pharmacy services at the North Shore Medical Center. Responsibilities include guiding staff, shaping short- and long-term goals, and ensuring policy adherence.

The role reports to pharmacy leadership and requires a PharmD or Pharmacist license with 2–5 years of management experience. Position is onsite at 81 Highland Avenue with a 40-hour workweek.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license required (state license).
• 2–3 years of pharmacy management experience required; 3–5 years preferred.
• Strong verbal, written and quantitative skills; ability to lead and educate staff.
• Experience in large health care/hospital systems is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs daily operations of pharmacy services and directs staff.
• Supervises and schedules staff; serves as a policy resource for pharmacists, physicians, nurses, and hospital staff.
• Participates in recruitment, interviews, and training of new staff.
• Develops, implements policies and procedures; conducts educational programs and staff meetings.
