Responsibilities

1. Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations, administrative activities, ensuring efficient workflow and a positive patient experience. Serve as a full-time certified pharmacy technician where allowed by law.
2. Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision. Supervise pharmacy technicians and cashiers in accordance with policies, laws, and ethics.
3. Manage pharmacy technician staffing, training, coaching, performance, and disciplinary actions.
4. Engage with customers to provide assistance, resolve complaints, and enhance the customer experience, focusing on healthcare services.
5. Assist in delivering patient care services such as registration, prescription entry, medication preparation, and health screenings, under pharmacist supervision.
6. Manage pharmacy operations including scheduling, inventory, compliance, and technology rollouts.
7. Lead performance management for pharmacy staff, including hiring, training, and ensuring licensure compliance.
8. Maintain professional knowledge, certifications, and pursue ongoing development.
9. Communicate effectively with team members and participate in store meetings.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• PTCB or ExCPT certification (excluding Puerto Rico)
• At least one year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital setting
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

Preferred Qualifications

• Leadership or people management experience
• Previous Walgreens experience with high performance evaluations
