Job summary

The Indian Health Service (DOHHS) in Crownpoint, New Mexico seeks a Pharmacist to provide technical and administrative supervision within the Pharmacy Branch of the Division of Clinical Services at Crownpoint Healthcare Facility. The selectee will direct pharmacy program operations, ensure regulatory compliance, manage budgets, and deliver direct pharmaceutical care to patients.

This permanent, full-time position is GS-13 with promotion potential none.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree in Pharmacy recognized by ACPE.
• Licensure to practice in a U.S. state or territory.
• NAPLEX and MPJE required for licensure.
• Must be able to pass background/suitability checks and security requirements.
• GS-13 level requires at least one year of professional pharmacy experience at the next lower grade level.

Responsibilities

• Directs Pharmacy Program Operations.
• Develops and Implements Policies and Procedures.
• Ensures regulatory compliance and accreditation.
• Manages financial and budgetary responsibilities.
• Plans, organizes, coordinates, and evaluates departmental activities.
• Provides direct pharmaceutical care services to patients.
