Responsibilities

• Monitor, modify, and evaluate drug therapy for optimal outcomes; interact with patients to obtain drug history and counsel.
• Perform pharmaceutical compounding for sterile and non-sterile preparations, including extemporaneous formulations.
• Evaluate medication orders for appropriateness based on guidelines, patient factors, interactions, allergies, and formulary options.
• Dispense medications with attention to accuracy, labeling, safety, and regulatory compliance.
