AdventHealth in Orlando, FL seeks an experienced Clinical Pharmacist Leader to oversee pharmacy operations across a large hospital campus. You will lead staff, ensure safe medication practices, and collaborate with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care.

Qualifications

• Doctorate in Pharmacy is required.
• Master’s in Healthcare Leadership preferred.
• 1+ years of pharmaceutical experience preferred.
• 5+ years of pharmacy practice in a large hospital/health system preferred.
• PGY-1 residency or equivalent preferred.
• PGY-2 residency or fellowship or equivalent preferred.
• Licensed Pharmacist (RPH) required.
• Board Certified Pharmacotherapy Specialist (BCPS) preferred.
• Pharmacy Consultant (CPh) preferred.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) preferred.

Responsabilités

• Oversees operations and programs of assigned pharmacy areas, including staffing, hiring, terminations, evaluations, and coaching for staff.
• Schedules pharmacy employees to meet productivity targets and department objectives.
• Liaises with campus leadership to resolve medication-related issues and execute campus strategies.
• Promotes cooperation and efficiency in providing patient pharmacy care needs with clinicians.
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory requirements, serving as Consultant of Record with the state Board of Pharmacy as applicable.
• Manages medication distribution, optimizes utilization, minimizes waste, and improves inventory turns.
• Maintains a practice environment consistent with hospital standards and contemporary pharmacy practices.
• Assists with budget preparation and manages assigned budgets and financial resources.
• Collaborates with healthcare providers and decentralized staff to deliver patient-centered care and appropriate medication therapy.
• Acts as preceptor/educator for residency and student programs; staffs in operational programs as needed.
