Job summary

Elk Ridge Community Health is seeking an experienced Associate Director of Pharmacy to provide administrative and managerial leadership across pharmacy operations. The role ensures high‑quality pharmaceutical care, regulatory compliance, and effective staff management in support of patient care.

The Associate Director will supervise pharmacy managers, coordinate service delivery at all locations, and work closely with the Pharmacy Director in strategic planning and program development.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist license in good standing (AZ) required.
• 7 years' experience in a pharmacy setting, with management or supervisory roles.
• Experience in budgeting, staff planning and policy development.
• ASHP PGY1 residency or Board-certified specialty is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads development and oversight of pharmacy operations and services.
• Ensures compliance with HIPAA, state/federal laws and accreditation standards.
• Administers budgeting, purchasing, and contract pricing for pharmacy services.
• Manages staff performance, recruitment, training, and development.
• Represents pharmacy programs in executive and community engagements.
