Job summary

Altruix, a high-touch pharmacy serving behavioral health and developmental disability populations, seeks a Manager of Pharmacy (PIC) to lead operations at the Scranton, PA location. The role requires a pharmacy degree, PA licensure, and 2+ years of staff pharmacist management.

On-site leadership with a hands-on approach, ensuring compliance, efficiency, and exceptional service. Responsibilities include supervising daily workflow, staffing, regulatory compliance, and contributing to production

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree and PA licensure required.
• Knowledge of applicable state and federal pharmacy laws.
• Compounding experience.
• 2+ years’ experience managing staff pharmacists.
• Ability to organize and plan pharmacy staff activities.
• Leadership experience including interviewing, training and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations to ensure prescriptions are entered, filled, and dispensed accurately and timely.
• Maintain staffing levels and oversee workflow to support efficient operations.
• Ensure operations and staff comply with state and federal laws, company policies and standards.
• Participate in regulatory surveys and inspections by authorities.
• Contribute to production and perform pharmacist responsibilities as needed.
