Job summary

Walgreens is hiring a full-time certified pharmacy technician in Kentucky. Under pharmacist supervision, you will process prescriptions, handle patient data, and support vaccine administration and health services where allowed by law.

You will oversee non-clinical pharmacy tasks, schedule technicians, train staff, and ensure accurate records while maintaining patient satisfaction and a positive pharmacy workflow.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification required (unless in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent reading, writing and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with patient care activities under supervision.
• Manage non-clinical tasks and maintain accurate prescription data entry.
• Lead and develop pharmacy technician staff and support roles.
