Job summary

A BS or PharmD and current state license are required.

Qualifications

• Valid State Pharmacy License and current registration to practice Pharmacy
• Ability to stand/walk throughout majority of shift
• Pre-employment and/or random drug screening
• Certified Immunizer

Responsibilities

• Dispense prescriptions and counsel patients per Kinney Standard
• Perform QA steps to ensure accurate prescriptions
• Follow state and federal guidelines governing pharmacy practice
• Oversee submission and collection of third-party claims
• Manage inventory and coordinate with Kinney Warehouse and suppliers
• Check inventory for outdates and process returns
• Maintain prescription files and records per guidelines
• Use pharmacy technology to maximize ROI and lifespan
• Maintain patient confidentiality
• Support training and development of pharmacy staff
• Interface with auditors and complete mandatory training
