Job summary

Parrish Medical Center in Titusville, FL seeks a Pharmacy Operations Manager to lead daily pharmacy operations, ensure safe medication-use processes, and uphold the organization’s Culture of Choice. This role reports to the Director of Pharmacy and assumes 24-hour responsibility for designated areas.

Responsibilities include regulatory compliance with Joint Commission, DEA, USP standards; overseeing compounding, automation, staff development, and cross-department collaboration to sustain

Qualifications

• 3 years to < 5 years of experience in related area with two of those years being supervisory or management experience.
• Hazardous Drug Compounding, Sterile and Non-Sterile Compounding experience required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations for PMC and Infusion Center, including workflow prioritization, staffing coordination, and technician supervision.
• Ensure uninterrupted medication distribution and compounding services.
• Improve efficiency and reduce patient care delays.
• Lead Medication Safety Program and chair associated committees.
• Coordinate implementation of system upgrades and staff training.
• Function as Assistant Director of Pharmacy and assume leadership responsibilities in the absence of the Director.

Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy
