Job summary

Walgreens in Seattle seeks a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision. You will process prescriptions, assist with patient registration, and help deliver vaccines where permitted by law.

Engage customers, ensure accurate data entry, manage inventory, and uphold regulatory compliance. Must have PTCB certification and at least 1 year of retail pharmacy experience, with readiness to obtain immunization certification

Qualifications

• Must have a High School Diploma or GED.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent reading/writing/speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist pharmacist with patient registration, prescription data entry, and medication preparation.
• Handle patient calls and communications; support vaccine administration and health services where allowed by law.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, track inventory, and maintain records and security.
