Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• PTCB certification required (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist with day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative tasks.
• Support patient registration, prescription data entry, and preparation of medications.
• Handle calls to patients, physicians, and insurers under pharmacist supervision.
• Help with vaccine administration, health screenings, and other services where allowed by law.
• Delegate non-clinical work within company policies and ensure on-time task completion.
• Maintain inventory, records, and security in the pharmacy per policy.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of technicians when needed.
• Communicate prescription errors and support quality improvement initiatives.
