Job summary

Atlantic Health is seeking a Pharmacy Manager in Pompton Plains, New Jersey to lead pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, oversee budgeting, and supervise staff including pharmacists and technicians. The role collaborates with clinicians to optimize patient outcomes, drives safety initiatives, and maintains SOPs while preparing for inspections.

A PharmD is required; an MS/MBA is preferred; NJ licensure is mandatory; hospital leadership experience is required.

Qualifications

• PharmD required and current NJ licensure.
• MS or MBA preferred for leadership and budgeting.
• Hospital pharmacy experience with leadership abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage overall pharmacy operations and ensure compliance.
• Supervise staff, budgets, and regulatory adherence to deliver quality care.
• Collaborate with clinicians to optimize patient outcomes.
• Act as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) and oversee operations and records.
• Develop, implement, and maintain standard operating procedures.
• Recruit, train, and schedule pharmacists, technicians, and interns.
• Ensure safe preparation and dispensing of medications.
• Monitor MTM and patient outcomes; drive safety initiatives.
• Prepare for inspections and manage budgeting and cost controls.
• Analyze financial performance and generate reports.
