Job summary

You will support pharmacists, process prescriptions, assist with patient registration, data entry, and ensure accurate dispensing and customer service. Under supervision, you will help manage non-clinical operations, maintain inventory, train teammates, and participate in community pharmacy services while upholding Walgreens policies and state regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, counting, and verification.
• Under supervision of a pharmacist, handle non-clinical tasks and ensure accurate insurance processing.
• Lead training and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
