Job summary

Wegmans in New Jersey is seeking a Pharmacy Manager to oversee the entire operation of the pharmacy department, guiding pharmacists, team leaders and technicians to deliver outstanding patient care.

You will set department goals, partner with store leadership, optimize workflow and drive profitability while ensuring compliance and customer focus. Leadership experience in retail pharmacy is preferred and a strong commitment to staff development is essential.

Qualifications

• PharmD or Bachelor of Pharmacy degree.
• Licensed pharmacist (may require multi-state licensure).
• Computer skills with pharmacy software proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Oversee pharmacy operations, including workflow, scheduling, payroll and documentation.
• Set and achieve goals with pharmacists and team leaders, holding them accountable for sales and profitability.
• Manage dispensing and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with store leadership to implement company initiatives and drive storewide success.
• Educate on products and trends to increase profitability.
• Interview, hire and train new staff; promote career development.
