Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience in retail or hospital settings.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation and counting of medications, and verification under supervision.
• Complete patient and physician calls under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist with healthcare services including administering vaccines, health screenings where allowed by law.
• Lead performance management and training of technicians, ensuring adherence to policies and laws.
• Manage inventory tasks, records, and ensure security safeguards and compliance with company policies.
