Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB or ExCPT certification.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.
• Willingness to obtain immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative tasks; ensure efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.
• Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Lead training, coaching, and performance management of pharmacy technicians; handle disciplinary actions as needed.
• Assist in patient registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications, and verification where allowed by law.
