Job summary

PillPack, LLC is seeking a Pharmacy Manager in Illinois to oversee a small-format pharmacy site. The role includes hands-on dispensing, verification, and patient safety leadership, managing a team of technicians and pharmacists, and driving lean improvements to meet safety and service goals.

The position requires a PharmD or Doctor of Pharmacy, unrestricted license, and flexibility to work weekends/nights. Strong regulatory knowledge and leadership experience are essential to ensure compliance

Qualifications

• Active and unrestricted Pharmacist license in all required states.
• Experience with performance metrics and Lean techniques.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal pharmacy laws and patient safety.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends, nights, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee safety, quality, and customer experience of site operations.
• Manage daily site operations and CPT times for same-day deliveries.
• Evaluate prescriptions for appropriateness and recommend therapy changes when needed.
• Lead and develop pharmacy staff to meet performance goals and compliance.
• Ensure licensure and regulatory compliance with state boards and accreditation bodies.
