Qualifications

• Current registration with the Georgia Board of Pharmacy is required; certification must be obtained by the third attempt or within 12 months of hire.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician.

Responsibilities

• Assists in scheduling technical personnel; develops bi-weekly technician schedules and coverage.
• Coordinates orientation, training, and certification of technicians; manages 90-day orientation.
• Serves as system administrator for pharmacy software (Veriform, KitCheck).
• Backups for pharmacy buyers.
• Participates in technician hiring interviews and performance reviews.
• Performs duties of a technician when needed and other duties as assigned.
