ProAct, Inc. seeks a Pharmacy Technician to assist pharmacists with triaging, processing and delivering prescriptions, oversee daily pharmacy operations and train staff.

The role emphasizes compliant handling of drug policies and accurate data entry within inventory and billing workflows. Responsibilities include supporting third-party claims, maintaining records, and ensuring every prescription is pharmacist-checked before dispensing while delivering quality customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum: High School Diploma or GED.
• Preferred: AS Degree or Higher.
• Experience in hospital or retail pharmacy is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist professional staff with triaging, processing and delivering prescriptions.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of the pharmacy department.
• Train and develop staff, assign tasks and ensure workload balance.
• Ensure compliance with state and federal regulations and policies.
• Support inventory management including ordering, receiving and returns.
• Ensure every prescription is checked by a pharmacist before dispensing.
• Assist with third-party claims submissions and resubmissions.
• Locate prescription files and prepare records for pharmacist signatures.
• Support hiring and training of new employees and oversee workflow from data entry to pickup.
• Maintain quality customer service and adherence to training programs.
