Job summary

Prior retail pharmacy experience and PTCB certification are preferred, with a flexible schedule including evenings/weekends.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• PTCB certification required or in process where permitted by state law.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting preferred.
• Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative tasks to ensure efficient workflow.
• Assist pharmacist with patient data entry, prescription processing, and verifying information within policy and regulations.
• Lead training and performance management of pharmacy technicians where applicable and support staff as directed by the Pharmacy Manager.
• Contribute to inventory management and annual stock preparation under supervision.
• Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and promote a positive customer experience in-store.
• Assist with community outreach and immunization clinic coordination as assigned.
