Job summary

Walgreens in Hilton Head Island, SC, seeks a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician to support day-to-day non-clinical operations under a pharmacist. You will help with patient registration, data entry, medication prep, and ensure efficient workflow and a positive patient experience.

You will lead training and performance management of technicians, participate in vaccine administration and health screenings where allowed, manage inventory, and ensure compliance with laws and company policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• PTCB certification is required.
• 1 year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluency in reading/writing/speaking English is required.
• Willingness to obtain active immunization certification within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist with patient registration, prescription data entry, and preparation/verification of medications.
• Support vaccine administration, health screenings, and other health services as allowed by law.
• Delegate and manage non-clinical tasks to pharmacy technicians within company policies and laws.
• Assist with reports, inventory management, and ensuring security of the pharmacy.
