Job summary

Walgreens in New Jersey is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support pharmacists in delivering patient care and managing daily pharmacy operations. You will register patients, enter prescriptions, prepare medications, and assist with vaccines and health services where allowed by law.

Under pharmacist supervision, you will supervise pharmacy technicians, drive efficient workflow, maintain records, and participate in training and performance management to ensure service quality

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• PTCB certification is required.
• At least 1 year of pharmacy technician experience.
• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to obtain immunization certification within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including registration, data entry, preparation, counting and verification where allowed by law.
• Maintain efficient pharmacy workflow and ensure a positive patient experience.
• Support training, coaching, and performance management of technicians.
