Walgreens in Taylorville, IL is seeking a full-time, certified Pharmacy Technician to support non-clinical and some clinical tasks under a pharmacist supervision. You will process prescriptions, assist with patient registration, and maintain accurate records while upholding company policies and safety standards.

You will lead daily workflow, engage customers, and participate in inventory management, training, and performance coaching for the team.

Qualifications

• PTCB certification required (except Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in retail or hospital.
• Fluent English communication.
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsabilités

• Process prescriptions under pharmacist supervision.
• Assist with patient registration and prescription data entry.
• Prepare medications and verify where allowed by law.
• Assist with healthcare services including vaccinations as permitted by law.
• Coordinate and support pharmacy inventory and records management.
• Lead training and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
