Job summary

Qualifications

• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• High School Diploma or GED or equivalent.
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (must be fluent).
• Willing to work flexible schedule, including evening and weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in patient care including registration, prescription data entry, preparation of medications for patients, counting, and verifying (where allowed by law).
• Under pharmacist supervision, assist with healthcare service offerings including vaccines and health screenings where allowed by law.
• Ensure efficient pharmacy workflow and track insurance claims to resolve issues and minimize rejections.
• Lead training and performance management of pharmacy technicians and ensure compliance with company policies.
