Qualifications

• Graduate of a School of Pharmacy with a BS or PharmD degree.
• 3-5 years health system experience.
• Current licensure in the State of Alabama, controlled substances permit, parenteral license, preceptor license, BCLS provider.

Responsibilities

• The Pharmacy Operations Manager is responsible for assisting in the management of the department on a daily basis.
• Overseeing all medication procurement, storage, preparation and dispensing in the health system or organization.
• Ensuring optimal pharmaceutical care, participating in quality improvement activities, and complying with legal, accreditation and certification requirements.
