Qualifications

  • Doctorate of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy (if obtained prior to 2000).
  • Direct - 5 years with 3 years of leadership experience.
  • Pharmacist - AR State Board of Pharmacy.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee daily operations in area of responsibility within pharmacy.
  • Coordinate activities related to effective medication use and distribution services.
  • Work with pharmacy leadership to align with department and hospital goals.
  • Identify opportunities for improvement in operations, safety and efficiency and implement changes.
  • Participate in development and reporting of Pharmacy quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
  • Investigate and follow up on medication error reports and close the loop.
