Qualifications

• Doctorate of Pharmacy or Bachelor of Pharmacy (pre-2000) required.
• 2 years pharmacy work experience or residency training is recommended.
• AR State Board of Pharmacy licensure required for pharmacists.

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, analyze, monitor and maintain safe and effective medication-use processes.
• Develop and maintain competency with the hospital computer system for safety identification.
• Provide clinical and educational services, including rounding and patient education.
• Serve as consultant to pharmacists and assist in resolving issues related to orders and therapy.
