Job summary

Walgreens is seeking a full-time certified pharmacy technician to support day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and ensure a smooth, compliant workflow. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, you will assist with prescription processing, data entry, and customer service to provide a positive patient experience.

You will participate in training and performance management, help coordinate schedules, and contribute to accuracy in records and inventory.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• PTCB certification (except in Puerto Rico).
• One year of work experience as a pharmacy technician in a retail or hospital setting.
• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Assist pharmacist in day-to-day non-clinical pharmacy operations and administrative activities.
• Process prescriptions and manage patient and drug information under pharmacist supervision.
• Lead training and performance management of pharmacy technicians.
• Engage customers and patients, resolve complaints, and promote good patient experience.
• Ensure accurate pharmacy workflow and compliance with laws and company policies.
