Job summary

SSM Health in St. Louis, MO is seeking a Pharmacist Supervisor for the 503B Outsourcing unit. Coordinate compounding and production operations, oversee technicians, ensure DEA compliance, maintain a safe drug supply, and support the pharmacy team.

The role requires a Pharm.D. (or B.Pharm) from ACPE, at least three years as a pharmacist with at least one year in quality assurance, and the ability to lead staff, plan production schedules, and drive quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Pharmacy degree from ACPE-accredited school.
• Three years of pharmacist experience with at least one year in QA or quality control.
• Ability to lead staff, supervise technicians and coordinate operations.

Responsibilities

• Oversees medication dispensing and coordinates pharmac​y technicians.
• Ensures FDA/DEA compliance and environmental program oversight.
• Creates production schedules and manages inspection, labeling and packaging tasks.
• Implements quality improvements and ensures medication safety standards.
• Coordinates with other departments and leadership to ensure quality of care.
• Precepts pharmacy students and residents as applicable.
