Amerita, an affiliate of BrightSpring Health Services Corporation, is hiring in Charlottesville, VA for a role in the pharmacy support team. You will assist with patient communication, documentation, and EMR entry while coordinating with pharmacy and corporate colleagues.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED; degrees preferred, and 1+ years in pharmacy or healthcare. Flexible duties include answering calls, greeting guests, and handling mail.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED; associates/bachelors preferred.
• Prefer degree or equivalent experience in healthcare.
• Minimum 1+ years in pharmacy or healthcare-related field.
• Strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of pharmacy terminology and processes.
• Capable of multitasking in a demanding environment.
• Excellent organizational skills and mindfulness.

Responsibilities

• Communicates effectively across pharmacy and/or corporate teams and with patients, resolving issues.
• Tracking all pharmacy documentation and entering into EMR system as necessary.
• Answers incoming calls.
• Takes messages and transfers callers to the designated party when applicable.
• Greets guests.
• Handles incoming mail.
• Other duties as assigned.
