Job summary

Qualifications

• Registration with Indiana Board of Pharmacy within 30 days of hire date.
• National Pharmacy Tech Certification.
• Previous pharmacy work experience preferred.

Job Description:

The Ambulatory Clinic Tech's role is to assist the pharmacists in the performance of routine duties in the ambulatory clinic. This will require interaction with patients and providers both in person and over the phone, in addition to maintaining clinic records in accordance with the established policies and procedures. Technicians are expected to conduct themselves professionally and in accordance with accredited hospital policies and procedures, ethical and professional practices, accrediting body (e.g. The Joint Commission, ACHC, or DNV) standards, and applicable State and Federal requirements. If cross training is permissible, technicians may be called upon to work in other areas.

Requirements:

Registration with Indiana Board of Pharmacy within30 daysof hire date if you are a new registrant. If previously registered, you must have registration upon hire.

National Pharmacy Tech Certification

Previouspharmacy work experience preferred
