Job summary

East Tennessee Pharmacy Services, a Guardian family pharmacy, is hiring a Pharmacy Technician in Knoxville, TN. The role supports facilities with medication records, eMar navigation, and profile management, with regular collaboration between operations, facilities, and pharmacists.

Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, with no weekends or holidays. PTCB certification and TN license are required; a $2,500 sign-on bonus is eligible after 12 months of service.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of related experience; advanced computer skills required.
• Pharmacy technician license/certification; TN license.
• PTCB certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain facility profiles in QS1; liaison with facilities.
• Develop and maintain relationships with facility staff for timely resolution.
• Create Standing Orders or MAR print options; QS1 customization.
• Navigate eMar platforms to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Maintain continuous prescriptions with prescribers and facilities.
• Update monthly MARs and Physician Orders (POs).
• Coordinate delivery schedules for monthly records with facilities.
• Generate and schedule custom monthly reports; ensure active drug profiles.
• Review facility profiles monthly and update as needed.
• Maintain supplies inventory; assist pharmacists and enter/profiliate prescriptions.
