Job summary

Nebraska Methodist Health System’s Methodist Fremont Hospital in Fremont, NE is seeking a casual/PRN Medical History Technician - Pharmacy to perform patient interviews and build accurate medication histories. You will review records, support data entry, and collaborate with pharmacists to resolve discrepancies while promoting the Pharmacy Discharge Medication Program.

This on-site role requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to adapt to varying schedules for patient

Qualifications

• Required: High school diploma or GED.
• Preferred: Experience with medications or similar education (nursing/pre-pharmacy).
• Strong communication, computer and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient interviews to collect accurate medication information.
• Review pharmacy, clinic and medical record data to validate medication information.
• Enter data into the medical record accurately.
• Collaborate with Pharmacists to resolve medication discrepancies and educate on discharge medication program.
