Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Some hospital pharmacy experience preferred.
• Registration with state as Pharmacy Technician (RPHT.NE) or CPHT IA; CPHT IA within 12 months; BLS preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transfer of medication issues communicated between the pharmacy team.
• Sterile compounding management.
• Pass Low Risk Level competency and manage product flow.
• Pass Medium Risk Level competency and manage product flow.
• Operate Omnicell and other pharmacy equipment.
• Support central pharmacy operations and documentation.
• Train and orient new pharmacy staff as needed.
• Ensure patient rights and data confidentiality.
