Custom Health Inc. is seeking a motivated Materials Management Technician for Young at Heart Pharmacy to monitor inventory and support just-in-time operations.

You will work with pharmacists and vendors, place daily orders via Surecost and other channels, verify receipts under DSCSA, and help optimize procurement.

This role emphasizes accuracy, communication, and teamwork, with a Monday through Friday day schedule and opportunities to grow within our health-tech organization.

Qualifications

• Indiana State Pharmacy Technician license preferred.
• Must apply for Tech-In-Training permit before Day 1.
• Previous pharmacy experience highly valuable.

Responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels using reorder points.
• Maintain daily inventory accuracy and support JIT operations.
• Advise on replenishment and cost-cutting.
• Follow purchasing guidelines with multiple vendors.
• Place daily orders via vendor platforms and phone/fax.
• Receive inventory, verify items with DSCSA compliance.
• Store medications correctly and manage stock locations.
• Respond to procurement status inquiries.
• Collaborate with pharmacists on substitutions.
• Communicate with staff, vendors, caregivers, and wholesalers.
• Assist with occasional operational fulfillment.
• Support cross-functional priorities.
