Job summary

Hannaford Supermarkets is seeking a Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) or Supervising Pharmacist to lead the pharmacy department. You will ensure compliance with Federal and state laws, drive department performance, and oversee daily operations.

The role involves immunizations, staff development, and building relationships with the community to grow the pharmacy business. A valid pharmacy license and immunizing certification are required.

Qualifications

• Pharmacist degree from an accredited school.
• Criminal background check and drug testing cleared.
• Current immunizing pharmacist certification and state license.

Responsibilities

• Serve as Pharmacist in Charge or Supervising Pharmacist as required.
• Manage department financial performance including sales, margins, and inventory.
• Oversee daily pharmacy operations and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Lead staff development, training, and interviewing of pharmacists and technicians.
• Coordinate weekly pharmacist scheduling and maintain MPP scheduling system.
• Develop relationships with healthcare providers and community to grow pharmacy business.
